Its permissions mean it can read and change data on all websites, can inject scripts into pages and can observe network requests. The extension is a legitimate lockdown browser for exams. All powerful permissions (webRequest, scripting, cookies, etc.) are essential for its functionality: monitoring traffic, injecting lockdown scripts, and managing exam sessions. Network communication is exclusively with the publisher's own server (), and data collection (PII) is properly disclosed in the Chrome Web Store listing. The code contains no signs of malicious behavior, data exfiltration, or unauthorized tracking.
