In code review (v1.0.0)

Our reviewer read version 1.0.0 — the most recent version we have reviewed — and found no malicious behaviour. The version shown here has not been individually reviewed yet.

What our analysis found

Bulk Image Resize, used by 6,000 people, showed no malicious code in Extension Auditor's review. It comes from a trusted publisher and was last updated in August 2026.

All code paths perform local-only image resizing via the Canvas API with zero network data transmission; the only outbound URL usage is a tab opened on install () and an uninstall-feedback URL, both standard extension patterns carrying no user data. The chrome-stats third-party score corroborates the ML false-positive signal (impact, likelihood). The sole confidence-depressing factor is the publisher portfolio: other extensions flagged malicious (33%), which warrants a 'likely_benign' rather than 'false_positive' verdict even though no malicious code was found here.
