This is Google's official Chrome Remote Desktop companion extension (publisher: Google Ireland, Ltd., verified badge, 39M users, featured listing). The source code is pure Google Closure Library output that acts as a relay between the web app and two Google-owned native messaging hosts (com.google.chrome.remote_desktop, com.google.chrome.remote_assistance). The extension explicitly validates all incoming external connections against a domain check (:2129: `if (!b.F.endsWith(' '))` — disconnects anything else), the only URL it opens is ` and the.open permissions are the precise minimal set needed to install and launch the native desktop client. All three independent signals (ML score 0.00, chrome-stats likelihood, publisher reputation malicious) corroborate benignity; none contradict.

This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.
