The current version has the following features: * Embedded video player for video attachments with file extension .mp4/.webm/.ogv/.mov * Embedded audio player for audio attachments with file extension .wav/mp3/ogg * A settings window where you can enable or disable Gmail Mod features. Note that some files may not play because of an incorrect file extension or unsupported codec by the web browser. KInda works but hasn't been updated in 4 years , best alternative now would be Magico player , it works everytime and it supports more formats , also much newer and faster https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/kjilmghncdgkpofilgmkcnlnjoleplof?utm_source=item-share-cb

It's become a staple for me, and I have no clue why this hasn't become a native feature in Gmail, even after all these years. I think the extension needs a much better name, because "Gmail Mod" doesn't give a clear picture of what it actually does, but the ability to play most videos directly in your browser is such a quality-of-life improvement, I recommend this sleeper hit for everyone.
