The extension's behavior is fully consistent with its stated purpose of translating and displaying dual subtitles on video sites. It communicates only with its own API ([domain withheld]) for translation services, which is first‑party and necessary for the core functionality. No data is collected without user consent, and no unauthorized permissions or covert data flows were found. A minor mismatch in web_accessible_resources (published vs. bundled) is likely a listing error, not malicious.
