The entire extension is 52 lines () plus an empty static ruleset: it sets [domain withheld] as the omnibox search provider via:27-36, mints a 32-char Math.random session id (:6), pings once and sets an uninstall URL (:12,22), and adds one declarativeNetRequest rule that only appends `session=` to the query string of [domain withheld] (:23-47) without ever changing the host. Every destination is the publisher's own domain, which is also the Author field and privacy-policy host, and there is no content script, no remote config, no code, and no access to browsing data outside that one host. The ML score (0.83) and the malext feed label point toward malicious; the code, the chrome-stats, the trusted-publisher and featured badges, and the exact match between the listing description and manifest behaviour contradict them. Hygiene note, not a finding: the persistent install identifier reported on install, uninstall and every search is a first-party analytics id that is not reflected in the CWS data-collection disclosure ('none declared'); and this is behaviourally the monetized search-provider family, whose actual monetization happens server-side at where it cannot be observed from the bundle.
