What our analysis found
Porsche 911 GT Live Wallpaper showed no malicious code in Extension Auditor's review. It comes from a trusted publisher and was last updated in July 2026.
Analyst notes
All five JS files were reviewed and contain no data exfiltration, obfuscation, or remote code loading. The extension is a standard new tab replacement: it overrides the new tab page with a Porsche 911 GT video background (from [domain withheld]), a Google search bar, and quick-access tile shortcuts. The ML score of 0.42 is explained entirely by mundane new-tab boilerplate — form tags, appendChild calls, and script inclusions — none of which carry malicious intent here. The third-party risk score ( impact, likelihood) and the Google trusted publisher badge corroborate a benign verdict. One notable quality issue: still references a video URL for a different extension ('galaxy-ranger-acheron') revealing this is a template-copied extension with an incomplete update, but this is a development sloppiness signal, not a malice signal.
