Tracking
On every new tab open, a GET request is issued to the third-party domain [domain withheld], exposing the user's IP address and request timing to a party unrelated to the publisher. The CWS data-collection disclosure is 'none declared', so this passive data exposure is undisclosed. Additionally, the video filename ('galaxy-ranger-acheron') does not correspond to the advertised Dodge Challenger SRT Demon content, suggesting the extension is a template clone with a mismatched asset.
Analyst notes
The extension's loads video content from the undisclosed third-party domain [domain withheld] (galaxy-ranger-acheron.1920x1080.mp4) on every new tab open, exposing the user's IP to a party unrelated to the publisher ([domain withheld]) with no CWS data-collection disclosure. The loaded content ('galaxy-ranger-acheron') does not match the advertised Dodge Challenger SRT Demon theme, and the entire is in Turkish ('Yeni Sekme', 'Ara') while the listing presents in English — strong indicators this is a template-cloned extension with an AI-generated description, not a purpose-built wallpaper. The third-party risk score ( impact, Google-trusted publisher) and our risk engine (0.00) both corroborate a low direct harm profile, but the undisclosed external media call and mismatch elevate this above likely_benign.
