The extension's code uses the webNavigation permission solely to detect slide changes in Google Slides, which is necessary for the poll functionality. All communication is restricted to first-party Poll Everywhere domains via postMessage, with no evidence of data exfiltration, tracking, or code injection beyond the declared scope. The high ML pattern counts (e.g., XMLHttpRequest, innerHTML) are typical of minified Webpack bundles and do not indicate malicious behavior. The third-party risk score and publisher reputation corroborate a low-risk, benign extension.
