After reading all substantive code files, Kite Plus is a legitimate Zerodha Kite trading platform enhancer: it fetches XIRR data from [domain withheld] using the user's own CSRF token (read from localStorage), displays it in the holdings table, and embeds a [domain withheld] iframe on stock symbol hover for fundamentals. Every network call goes to either [domain withheld] or [domain withheld] (both declared in host_permissions), or loads a publicly-accessible [domain withheld] page passing only a stock symbol (a non-personal public identifier). The declarativeNetRequest rule modifies CORS headers solely to enable cross-origin fetching between the two Zerodha subdomains; it is not used for traffic interception or redirection. The bundled manifest matches the published manifest exactly with no discrepancy. Chrome-stats rates impact at, corroborating benign behavior; the ML score of 0.31 is driven by the declarativeNetRequest permission and header-modification pattern, which are false signals here.
