The extension is a straightforward [domain withheld] ad blocker that intercepts fetch and XHR requests within the MAIN world content script () to strip ad-related JSON fields from playback API responses and block ad video segments — all scoped exclusively to [domain withheld] and *.[domain withheld]. No data is exfiltrated, no remote code is loaded, and no third-party network calls are made. The ML score was driven by normal ad-blocking patterns (XHR interception, fetch override, innerHTML in the popup for SVG icons, base64 hits likely from inline SVGs) that are standard for this extension category. The permhash cluster's 13% malware rate is not relevant here because those extensions share only the same minimal permission set (storage + one domain), not the same code behavior.
