No user data leaves the browser at all: both outbound calls (:41,:21) are bare GETs to the publisher's own `[domain withheld]` with no query parameters or body, and the URLs (:4,14) carry only static UTM strings — consistent with the "none declared" CWS disclosure. The bundled manifest matches the published manifest exactly (`search` + `[domain withheld]). Two things keep this at `likely_benign` rather than `false_positive`: `:54` assigns remote ` ` HTML straight into `#remote-popup.innerHTML`, and `:94-106` interpolates remote ` ` `url`/`name`/`icon` into an HTML template unescaped. The manifest declares no `content_security_policy`, so the MV3 default blocks inline `<script>` and `on*` handlers and this is not remote code execution, but it does give the publisher a store-review-free channel to render arbitrary markup and swap shortcut destinations in every new tab — capability, not observed abuse, and the listing does disclose a "Notifications" feature. ` ` is listed in ` ` but was not included in the bundle, so I could not hash it; the ML size residual (99,735 total minus the 12,345 bytes of the three reviewed scripts = 87,390) lands 143 bytes under stock jQuery 3.7.1 min (87,533, verified against four local copies, sha256 fc9a93dd…), which is within the noise of that aggregate counter's accounting and in the wrong direction for an injected payload, but is not a substitute for hashing the real file. The malext feed tag and the publisher's 62% leave-one-out malicious rate contradict rather than corroborate the code: the feed note's own basis line says it is "not an independent code review", and this is a 1,388-extension wallpaper template farm labelled in bulk. `:19-25` wipes IndexedDB, but in the service worker that only reaches the extension's own `chrome-extension://` origin — pointless housekeeping, not destructive.
