Gemini Folders: organize conversations & prompts Chrome extension security report

Do you use Google Gemini daily for work, coding, research, or content creation, but constantly lose your important prompts in an endless history? Gemini Folders is the extension you need. Transform your Gemini experience into a truly structured workspace by grouping your best conversations by projects, themes, or categories. No more time wasted scrolling to find an old chat! 💡 Why is it better than standard bookmarks? Unlike standard bookmarks that eventually clutter your browser and mix with your daily websites, Gemini Folders provides a dedicated and isolated workspace. Forget the tedious navigation in the bookmark manager: you get a custom menu, a lightning-fast search exclusive to your chats, and quick management tools—all overlaid directly on your Gemini window without ever leaving it. 🌟 KEY FEATURES 📁 Custom Folders: Categorize your conversations by theme (e.g., "Code Projects", "Recipes", "Writing", "Brainstorming"). 🔍 Instant Search: Find any conversation in a fraction of a second with the real-time search bar. ✏️ Quick Editing: Rename your conversations directly from the extension for better clarity. ☁️ Cloud Sync: Thanks to Chrome's native storage, access your folders across all your desktop or laptop computers connected to your Google account. 💾 Local Backup (Import / Export): Download all your data in JSON format with a single click to create secure backups, and restore them at any time. 🎨 Adaptive Design: The fluid interface integrates perfectly with your browser, natively supporting Dark Mode and your system's accent colors. 🛠️ HOW IT WORKS Open an important conversation on gemini.google.com. Click the extension icon (remember to pin it to your toolbar!). Enter a folder name (or click an existing folder) and save. You're done! 🔒 PRIVACY & SECURITY This extension is designed to be transparent and lightweight. It only activates on the Gemini domain and only reads the title and URL of your active tab at the exact moment you decide to save it. Your folders are safely stored in your own browser's memory (Chrome Sync): no third-party servers have access to your data.
