The extension is a legitimate full-screen client for Google Tasks. Its permissions (identity, storage) are strictly necessary for OAuth and local settings. The source code does not exhibit data exfiltration, code injection, or any malicious behavior. All network traffic is directed to Google APIs and the publisher's own website. The privacy policy explicitly states no data collection. High user rating (4.6) and featured status further corroborate benign intent. The only anomaly is a mismatch between the bundled manifest (MV2) and the CWS listing (MV3), likely due to a pending update; this is a hygiene issue, not evidence of malice.
