Analyst notes
This is an ordinary ad-supported new-tab wallpaper: renders a looped local video (), a clock, a chrome.search.query search box (:219, default engine, no hijack), Google-app links, and local-only widgets (calculator, todo, calendar, timer, sticky notes) that persist exclusively to localStorage. No content scripts, no permissions, and every network call is a parameterless GET to first-party [domain withheld] / [domain withheld] carrying zero user data, consistent with 'none declared'. The one residual capability is that [domain withheld] can place unescaped markup on every new tab (:35-51 assigns remote JSON `html` to #remote-popup.innerHTML;:82-91 interpolates remote shortcut into a jQuery template) - the MV3 default script-src 'self' (no CSP override in the manifest) blocks <script> and on*= handlers so no code can execute, but links, iframes or forms are possible, which is a real delayed-content vector for a publisher operating ~1,389 sibling extensions from one endpoint. Contradicting the flag: bundled manifest matches the published manifest exactly, the risk engine scored 0.10, and the chrome-stats likelihood reasons (' in the past month') are stale against a 218-day-old listing; the malext-feed 'malware' note is an external import with no affected version and no code review, and nothing in the code corroborates it.:18-24 wipes IndexedDB in the extension's own service-worker origin only (its own databases) - untidy, not harmful. I withhold false_positive because jquery-3.7.1. (loaded at:17, counted in the ML js_file_count of 12) and _locales are absent from the bundle and therefore unreviewed, and because the remote-markup channel is server-controlled.
