The extension is a straightforward [domain withheld] tag browser: it declares zero permissions in MV3, makes only GET requests to the public `[domain withheld] and `[domain withheld] endpoints (exactly matching its stated purpose), and all DOM manipulation via `innerHTML`/`insertAdjacentHTML` occurs only within its own popup using API data from [domain withheld]. Chrome-stats independently scores Impact due to no permissions. The ML score of 0.86 is driven entirely by benign signals: two `innerHTML` calls in the popup, SVG path data triggering `html_base64_obfuscation`, and standard HTML structure tags. The permhash cluster's 36% malware rate reflects the fact that many extensions share a zero-permission footprint, not that these signals indicate harm here. The publisher's other extension being flagged is the only genuinely concerning signal, but it does not change the verdict for this specific extension whose code is transparent and consistent with its listing.
