What our analysis found
Adminer - Capturar anúncios e produtos grátis, used by 60,000 people, showed no malicious code in Extension Auditor's review. It comes from a trusted publisher and was last updated in September 2024.
Analyst notes
The extension sends data only to the publisher's own domain ([domain withheld]) for its advertised purpose of ads from Facebook. No data exfiltration to third parties was observed. The ML model's risk score of 0.00 (low) is consistent with the benign behavior; regex pattern hits are inflated by standard webpack bundling and jQuery. The published manifest shows version 3, but the bundled manifest is version 2, which is likely a packaging discrepancy rather than a malicious indicator. All collected data (user auth, ad metadata) is disclosed via the privacy policy, though the CWS collection categories are listed as 'none declared', which may be a policy oversight but does not represent malicious intent.
