The extension is a legitimate YouTube enhancement tool. All network requests go to the publisher's own domain (), which serves as the backend for AI summaries, user authentication, and settings sync — all core features of the extension. No third-party data exfiltration, remote code loading, or obfuscation was detected. The high counts of innerHTML and base64 in the ML evidence stem from extensive DOM manipulation and inline SVG icons typical of such extensions. The publisher is a trusted Google developer with a valid privacy policy. The permissions (storage, activeTab) are minimal and appropriate.
