Analyst notes
The extension does exactly what it advertises: it scans ingredient text on grocery retailer pages for seed oil keywords and highlights them in-place using innerHTML replacement with a simple span tag. All logic is purely local — there are no network requests, no data collection, no remote endpoints, no calls, and no obfuscation. The files are nearly empty stubs. The ML score of 0.78 is driven entirely by benign signals: js_innerhtml from local DOM text highlighting, small file count, and content scripts matching grocery domains. The chrome-stats third-party score (Impact, Likelihood) corroborates a low-risk picture. Publisher reputation showing other extensions flagged is a weak signal given the completely clean, readable source code here.
