Extension from reputable anti-virus publisher Avira. The code implements redirection tracking for shopping coupon injection, using postMessage to communicate with the extension background; all destinations appear first‑party (Avira domains) and the collected data (location, web history, website content) matches the CWS‑disclosed privacy collections. The bundled includes a large assert polyfill and bundled utilities that inflate ML regex counters (e.g., js_xmlhttprequest, js_innerhtml) without representing malicious behaviour. A listing‑manifest permissions mismatch (missing in published summary) is a hygiene issue, not malware.
