Analyst notes
The extension is a legitimate coupon and cashback tool from a well-known, trusted publisher (RetailMeNot). All data flows go to the publisher's own domain ([domain withheld]) and are covered by the disclosed privacy policy (PII, location, web history, user activity). The code includes PII redaction for DOM captures and uses permissions typical for this category (intercepting requests for cashback, reading cookies for tracking). No third-party exfiltration, obfuscation, or unauthorized data collection was found.
