Analyst notes
The extension is a trivially simple omnibox helper: (11 lines) listens for omnibox input and opens a new tab with a Google search URL built via encodeURIComponent. No permissions are declared beyond the implicit omnibox keyword, no host_permissions, no external fetches, no data collection, and no obfuscation whatsoever. The ML score of 0.78 is almost certainly driven by low user count and a permhash cluster that happens to contain many malicious extensions with zero declared permissions — not by anything in this extension's actual code. The third-party malware-fingerprint match (0.57 ratio against ddflkflddgngedodpkoiijfjkjkhjodf) is likely a false cluster match on the empty-permission footprint; the actual code is completely unrelated.
