Positive

Negative

This OCR extension is surprisingly useful for those moments when you can see text on screen but can’t actually copy it. I like that you can simply select a specific area, take a snapshot, and get the text extracted without dealing with complicated steps. It should be especially handy for protected PDFs and other pages where normal copy and paste isn’t available.

Sujon Mia·2 Sept 2026

This is a simple and useful OCR extension for quickly extracting text from images or selected areas on a webpage. I especially like how easy it is to use just select the area you want, and the extension recognizes the text for you. It can also be helpful when reading protected PDF files in Chrome. Overall, it’s a convenient tool for copying text that cannot be selected normally.
