This is an ordinary new-tab wallpaper extension: only opens [domain withheld] on and proxies chrome.topSites.get back to the page, and:11 renders those sites into a local <li> menu — the top-sites data is never transmitted anywhere. There is not a single in the extension's own code (,,,,, all touch only chrome.storage.local, chrome.tabs.create for share links, and a plain [domain withheld] submit at:212), which directly contradicts the malext-feed 'malware' label and the 0.83 ML score; the chrome-stats impact and the publisher record are consistent with that but are not what the call rests on. Two caveats keep this at likely_benign rather than false_positive: the live CWS manifest declares only permissions:["search"] while this 1.2.5 bundle declares plus a newtab override — a narrowing, not the escalation of a delayed-malicious push, but it means the shipping build is different code I have not seen (the feed entry also supplies no affected version) — and:6,349-360 loads seven vendor scripts (, jquery., jquery-ui., sweetalert., popper., bootstrap., TweenMax.) that were not included in the bundle and therefore were not reviewed. Hygiene only: [domain withheld] is not the listed publisher site [domain withheld] (navigation only, no identifiers appended), and the 'preppy-halloween-wallpaper' uninstall slug plus a [domain withheld] mailto at:255 show template reuse.
