All JavaScript files do exactly what a cursor-replacement extension must do: injects a single <style> element (via innerHTML on a dedicated <style> node — not arbitrary page DOM) containing CSS cursor overrides read from chrome.storage.local; injects into already-open tabs on install (standard pattern so cursor activates without a page reload) and opens the publisher's own [domain withheld] on first install. No network calls are made to any external domain — all fetch() calls target the bundled local file; cursor images are 290 bundled PNGs. The bundled manifest exactly matches the published manifest: no permission mismatch. Third-party chrome-stats score and publisher reputation (Google trusted badge, low publisher risk, 6% malicious peer rate) both corroborate legitimacy.
