All three JS files (,,) implement exactly what the listing describes: reads the product title from product pages and passes it only to the background script via chrome.runtime.sendMessage — it is never forwarded to the external server; implements a simple chat UI that sends user-typed messages plus a session ID to the declared AWS ELB host endpoint. The manifest matches the published manifest exactly (same host_permissions, same permissions). The ML model likely over-triggered on the AWS ELB URL (sensitive-domain signal), content script injection on major shopping sites, XMLHttpRequest, and innerHTML — all of which are consistent with a shopping-assistant chat application. The one genuine concern is the publisher's other extension being flagged malicious (), which prevents a full false_positive call, but the code itself contains no hidden exfiltration, obfuscation, or behaviour inconsistent with the stated purpose.
