Контур.Плагин, used by 1,000,000 people, showed no malicious code in Extension Auditor's review. Its permissions mean it can read and change data on all websites and can inject scripts into pages. It comes from a trusted publisher and was last updated in March 2026.
The extension is a legitimate browser component for SKB Kontur cryptographic services. It uses nativeMessaging to communicate with a local application and injects a content script on all pages solely to bridge messages from Kontur web pages to the native host. All permissions are necessary for its function. No data exfiltration, obfuscation, or malicious behavior detected. The broad permissions and content script injection pattern likely triggered the ML model, but the code is transparent and purpose-built.
