What our analysis found
Full Size Images for IG, used by 4,000 people, showed no malicious code in Extension Auditor's review. It comes from a trusted publisher and was last updated in August 2023.
The extension is a straightforward Instagram image viewer with a single content script () that adds a zoom button to Instagram feed images. All DOM manipulation is local to the page with no network requests, no data collection, no external script loading, and no obfuscation. The manifest declares only a content_scripts match for with no permissions, consistent with the published manifest summary. The ML score of 0.65 was likely driven by the small file count and presence of appendChild calls in a minifier-style tiny bundle, not any malicious behavior.
