Analyst notes
All code paths in,, and serve the declared purpose of downloading Facebook videos: fetches video URLs from Facebook's own `video_data_async` API using the page's own session token, downloads streams from [domain withheld] and muxes them locally with, and injects download buttons using the tooltip library bundled alongside the extension's own UI logic. Zero data is transmitted to any third party — every network request targets `[domain withheld]` or `[domain withheld]`. The CWS removal for `policy_violation` and the chrome-stats critical signals corroborate caution, but the policy violation almost certainly reflects Facebook's ToS on video downloading rather than malware behavior; the source contains no C2 infrastructure, no payloads, and no remote code loading. The ML score is inflated by the libraries bundled in (driving the high `js_innerhtml`, `js_appendchild`, and `js_exclamation` counts) and by the legitimate wasm-unsafe-eval CSP needed for.
