All JavaScript code implements standard new-tab-replacement behaviour: clock display, user-defined shortcuts stored in localStorage, a `chrome.search.query` search bar, and jQuery-driven UI. The only outbound calls are UTM-tagged pings to [domain withheld] (the publisher's own domain) and Google's favicon CDN for shortcut icons — both are first-party or well-known. The one mildly unusual item is `indexedDB.databases()` with delete-all in, but a service worker's `indexedDB` is scoped to the extension's own origin and cannot reach other websites' or extensions' databases, so this is limited in blast radius to the extension's own storage (likely a version-migration cleanup). The manifest mismatch (bundled manifest lacks `host_permissions` for `[domain withheld]` that the live CWS listing declares) means the analyzed ZIP and the live version may differ, preventing a fully confident clear; combined with the description copy-paste error ('SpongeBob wallpapers' in a My Hero Academia extension), this warrants `likely_benign` rather than `false_positive`.
