In code review (v1.34.0)
Our reviewer read version 1.34.0 — the most recent version we have reviewed — and found no malicious behaviour. The version shown here has not been individually reviewed yet.
What our analysis found
Control Panel for YouTube, used by 100,000 people, showed no malicious code in Extension Auditor's review. It comes from a trusted publisher and was last updated in October 2026.
Analyst notes
The extension uses only chrome.storage.local for settings, has no network permissions, and makes no external requests. All code manipulates YouTube's DOM to customize the UI, matching the stated functionality. The ML model likely flagged it because of early content script injection and common regex patterns in minified code, but there is no data collection, tracking, or malicious behavior.
