Its permissions mean it can read and change data on all websites, can inject scripts into pages and can observe network requests. It comes from a trusted publisher and was last updated in September 2026.
All outbound network calls go to the publisher's own domains (,,) and align with the VPN service's functionality. The powerful permissions (proxy, webRequest, cookies, etc.) are necessary for a VPN proxy extension. The data collection categories disclosed in the CWS listing cover the types of data transmitted (error reports, user activity, web history), and no covert exfiltration to third parties was found. The high counts of XMLHttpRequest, POST, GET, eval, and innerHTML are typical in bundled, minified webpack code for a complex extension.
