The extension is the official Buffer social media scheduler. All data flows to [domain withheld] domains (publisher's own servers) when the user explicitly triggers a share action. The permissions (tabs, scripting, host_permissions all) are necessary to inject sharing buttons into third-party sites. No exfiltration, tracking, or obfuscation was found. The ML model likely overfit on the broad host permissions and scripting permission, but these are justified by the extension's core functionality.
