The source code in the extracted bundle is functionally clean: extracts ASINs from Amazon DOM via regex and data-asin attributes, copies them to the clipboard with navigator.clipboard.writeText(), and renders a floating UI — no affiliate-tag injection, no data exfiltration, and no obfuscated payloads. However, the ML score is explained by an accidentally-included node_modules tree (tailwindcss + autoprefixer + postcss devDependencies visible in and), which inflates every feature to implausible levels (2540 files, 13 MB JS) and is NOT evidence of malice on its own. What prevents a benign verdict is the publisher context: all 17 other extensions by this publisher (10Xprofit / 10xprofitio@, BD) are flagged malicious, the publisher's listed 'website' resolves to a Google support page rather than a real property, and the extension carries an explicit IoC from about hidden affiliate hijacking added approximately 25 days after publication — a timeline consistent with a code-cleanup-after-discovery pattern rather than a genuine false positive.
