The background script sends a POST request to a third-party domain ([domain withheld]) with the product ID, page hostname, and a source identifier upon detecting an AliExpress or Alibaba product page visit. The response contains a 'keepurl' which is then used to redirect the user's tab to a different URL, likely an affiliate link. This behavior is not disclosed in the extension's description and is unrelated to its advertised functionality of downloading product images and videos. It constitutes unauthorized network interception and user redirect.
