About this extension

Scan YouTube videos with AI: flags demonetization, copyright, community strikes, spam — with timestamps and how to fix them.

Read the publisher’s full description

Scan the YouTube video you're watching for policy risk — know right away if it's at risk of demonetization (a yellow icon, limited or no ads), a copyright claim (Content ID), a community guidelines strike, or being flagged as spam — right on the YouTube page, no extra tab, no upload required. WHY SCAN EARLY A video earns most of its revenue in the first days after upload — the exact window when a demonetization hit or a copyright claim does the most damage. YouTube doesn't warn you instantly: automated review can take hours, sometimes days, before a yellow dollar icon or a claim shows up on your video. In that gap, you're flying blind while the video burns through its best momentum. Scanning early closes that gap. Knowing which segment is risky while the video still has momentum means you can trim or blur the problem clip in YouTube's own editor, swap out music that's triggering a claim, demonetize just the sensitive segment instead of letting the whole video go yellow, fix a title or thumbnail that reads as misleading, or line up your appeal before the strike lands. If you already have a back catalog, rescanning old videos is worth it too. Every time YouTube tightens a policy, older uploads get re-evaluated against the new bar — plenty of channels lose monetization over a batch of old videos, not the newest one. Sweeping the whole catalog first tells you what to delete, what to make private, and what to fix. WHAT'S IN THE REPORT The AI watches the footage and listens to the audio — not just the title and description — then scores five categories: MONETIZATION — risk of a yellow icon, limited ads, or no ads at all: profanity, violence, adult or suggestive content, drugs, weapons, controversial or sensitive topics that advertisers avoid. COPYRIGHT — background music, film clips, images, narration, or third-party software that Content ID is likely to match, leading to revenue-share claims, country-by-country blocks, or a copyright strike. COMMUNITY GUIDELINES — risk of removal, a warning, or a strike heading toward channel termination: harassment, hate speech, harmful misinformation, dangerous acts and challenges, content unsuitable for minors. SPAM & DECEPTIVE PRACTICES — clickbait titles or thumbnails that promise one thing and deliver another, fake-engagement bait, misleading redirects to other platforms, malicious or scammy links in the description. CONTENT AUTHENTICITY — risk to the WHOLE CHANNEL's monetization eligibility under the reused/inauthentic content policy: footage lifted from other sources with no added value, mass-produced or repetitive content, videos lacking a clear point of view. THREE RISK LEVELS, NO GUESSWORK Every category gets exactly one of three ratings: • Safe — nothing concerning found in that category. • Low Risk — something worth noting, not urgent, but worth a second look. • High Risk — something YouTube's own systems are likely to act on, worth fixing before it does. No vague 7.5/10 score to interpret. Three levels, clearly colored, so you know what to do next at a glance. TIMESTAMPS AND FIXES This is what sets it apart from guessing on your own. Every issue found comes with an exact [mm:ss] timestamp, so you jump straight to that moment instead of scrubbing through the entire video hoping to spot the problem. Each issue ships with a practical fix, written from a creator's point of view, not quoted policy text: which seconds to cut, which track to swap for royalty-free music, which line to mute or bleep, how to rewrite a title or redesign a thumbnail so it stops reading as misleading, and — if a claim has already landed — what to cite when you file an appeal. HOW TO USE 1. Open the YouTube video you want checked. 2. Click the button that appears right on the YouTube page. 3. Wait for the analysis, then read the report on the spot. No copying links to another site, no separate tool to open, no account to create. KEY FEATURES • Scans right on the YouTube page — no tab-switching, no separate dashboard. • Written for creators, not machine-translated legal text. • Five policy categories, one consistent 3-level risk scale. • A [mm:ss] timestamp for every issue — jump straight to it. • A concrete, practical fix for every issue found. • Saves past results: reopen a video you already scanned and the report is already there, no extra analysis used. • Choose between a Quality mode and a Speed mode depending on the video's length and how urgent the check is. • Works on your own videos and on any public video on YouTube. • Free, no ads, no paid tier limiting how often you can use it. WHO IT'S FOR Creators of any size, multi-channel managers, MCNs and creator networks, video editors, brand social-media teams, business channel admins — anyone who needs to know a video's policy risk before that risk turns into lost revenue. Also useful for newer creators still working toward monetization eligibility: knowing exactly which category keeps tripping you up lets you fix the underlying habit in how you make videos, not just patch one upload after the fact. REAL-WORLD USE CASES • Just uploaded a video and want to know its demonetization risk while there's still time to fix it. • A video that was trending suddenly drops — you suspect a restriction but can't tell why. • Used background music pulled from an online source and aren't sure if it's Content ID protected. • Clipped in footage from someone else's channel and want to know which segment is riskiest. • Just took a strike and want to check the rest of the catalog before a second one lands. • About to apply for monetization and need to rule out videos that could drag the whole channel down. • Just took over management of a channel with hundreds of videos and need to know where to start cleaning up. • Producing videos for a client and need a risk read before handing the work off. GLOSSARY OF TERMS USED IN THE REPORT • Demonetization / yellow icon: the yellow dollar icon shown on a video in YouTube Studio, meaning ads on it are limited or turned off entirely because of the content. • Limited ads: the video still runs ads, but only for a narrower pool of advertisers, at noticeably lower revenue than normal. • Content ID claim: YouTube's system detects that part of the video matches content owned by someone else. Usually not a penalty on the channel, but revenue may be redirected to the other party, or the video may be blocked in some countries. • Copyright strike: more serious than a claim — filed directly by the rights holder requesting removal. Three active copyright strikes and the channel is terminated. • Community guidelines strike: a penalty for violating YouTube's Community Guidelines. The first violation is usually a warning; after that, strikes follow, and three strikes within 90 days ends the channel. • Warning: the step before the first strike — not a formal penalty, but a clear signal to fix the issue immediately. • Reused content: a video built mostly from someone else's material with too little original contribution from you. • Inauthentic content: mass-produced, repetitive, or formulaic content lacking a clear creative voice — a risk category that can affect the whole channel's monetization eligibility, not just one video. • YouTube Partner Program (YPP): the program that makes a channel eligible for monetization, which can be suspended if violations continue. • Appeal: the formal process for disputing a claim or a penalty you believe is mistaken. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Can it scan unlisted, private, or unpublished videos? No. Only videos that are currently PUBLIC on YouTube. A private video, an unlisted one, or a file still sitting on your computer can't be watched by the AI. Publish the video first, then scan it — or rescan videos that are already public. Is it free? Yes. Completely free, no paid tier, no ads, no usage cap you have to pay to remove. Is the result 100% accurate? No, and it isn't meant to be. It's an AI assessment flagging what's worth a second look, not a ruling. YouTube always makes the final call on any enforcement action. Can I scan another channel's video? Yes, as long as it's public. Many creators use this to see how competitors in the same niche handle sensitive topics. How long does a scan take? It depends on the video's length and the mode you choose. Short videos finish quickly; long ones take longer since both the video and the audio are reviewed in full. Does rescanning a video I already checked cost another scan? No. Past results are saved — reopening that video shows the existing report immediately, no new analysis run. Is my video content sent to the developer? No. See the Privacy section below, and the full privacy policy, for details. Do I need to install anything else? No. Just Chrome and a Google account already signed in. REQUIREMENTS - Only scans PUBLIC videos currently open on YouTube. Private or unlisted videos can't be read by the AI. - Requires a Google account already signed in to Chrome. The analysis runs on your own machine, under your own account and its free quota — no middleman server, no fee, no signup. - Results are AI-generated and for reference only. YouTube always has the final say. LIMITATIONS TO KNOW BEFORE INSTALLING To be upfront: this extension can't read your private YouTube Studio data, doesn't know whether a video already has a live claim against it, and doesn't file appeals on your behalf. It evaluates the public video itself — what it can see and hear — and flags the risk. Editing the video, demonetizing a specific segment, or filing an appeal all still happen in YouTube Studio, done by you. PRIVACY The extension doesn't send your browsing data or video content to the developer. No tracking, no ads, no device fingerprinting. See the privacy policy link on the listing page for full details. UPDATES YouTube's policies change constantly, so this extension is kept updated to match. The month and year in the name tell you which update cycle you're looking at. FEEDBACK Found a bug, or a report that looks wrong? Email dev@megacreative.network. The more specific the report, the faster the next version fixes it. This extension is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC or YouTube.
