YouTube Karaoke Mode - Synced Lyrics Chrome extension security report

Stop humming and start singing. The ultimate Synced Lyrics experience for YouTube is here. YouTube Karaoke Mode upgrades your music experience by automatically finding and displaying synchronized lyrics for millions of songs directly over the video player. Unlike basic extensions that break on "Radio Edits" or fail on "Topic" channels, our Smart Metadata Engine ensures you get the right lyrics, perfectly timed, every time. 🚀 WHY THIS IS THE BEST LYRICS EXTENSION: 1. 🎤 Cinema-Grade Visuals Toggle between two professional modes: Karaoke Mode: An immersive, semi-transparent overlay (Netflix-style) that shows the current line and previews the next one. Classic Mode: Minimalist floating text that stays out of your way. 2. 🧠 Smart Search Technology Most extensions fail when a video title is messy (e.g., "The Weeknd - Blinding Lights (Official Audio) [4K]"). Our extension uses advanced cleaning logic to strip away "Official Video," "ft.", "VEVO," and "Topic" channel suffixes to find the exact track match from the Lrclib database. It even verifies the song length to distinguish between Album Versions and Radio Edits. 3. 🎛️ Total Control Panel You are in the director's chair. Open the popup to: Drag & Drop: Move the lyrics box anywhere on the screen. We remember the position next time you visit. Fine-Tune Sync: Audio slightly off? Use the Sync Slider (±10s) to nudge lyrics forward or backward. Customize: Adjust font size (14px-50px) and choose from 5 high-contrast cinema colors (White, Yellow, Cyan, Green, Pink). 4. 🚫 Zero Distractions Ad-Aware: The lyrics overlay automatically hides when YouTube plays an ad and reappears when the music starts. Instrumental Detection: Automatically detects non-vocal tracks and displays a "🎵 Instrumental" badge. 🔒 PRIVACY & DATA SAFETY We believe in privacy by design. No Personal Data: We do not collect your browsing history, account details, or personal information. Transparent Operation: This extension only reads the title of the current video to fetch lyrics from the open-source Lrclib.net API. Open Source: You can audit our code on GitHub. Ready to sing?
