YouTube Adblock & SponsorBlocker is a browser extension designed to automatically skip sponsored ad segments within YouTube videos. Operating on a crowdsourced model, it allows any user to submit the starting and ending timestamps of sponsored sections in YouTube content. Once this data is submitted by a single user, all other users with the extension installed will automatically skip over the corresponding sponsored segments. The project is open-source, and its full segment database is publicly accessible. By using this extension, you can enjoy automatic skipping of sponsored promotions on YouTube. Additionally, the extension incorporates an upvote and downvote system supported by a weighted random distribution algorithm.
