XPath Highlighter - Generate and Validate XPath Expressions for Web Development XPath Highlighter provides two functions: 1) Generate XPath expressions by clicking webpage elements 2) Paste XPath expressions to locate and highlight elements on the page. Originally developed to identify technical issues from Screaming Frog crawls, particularly for locating hidden elements and debugging crawler discrepancies, this tool has broader applications for web development, testing, and automation. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS XPath Generation Click any webpage element to generate its XPath expression. The tool provides multiple XPath strategies for each element. XPath Validation Paste an XPath expression to locate and highlight the matching element on the page. This is useful for verifying XPath selectors before implementation or debugging selectors that are not working as expected. Side Panel Interface Generated XPath expressions appear in a side panel. The panel remains open while browsing, allowing users to work with multiple elements without interruption. Copy Functionality XPath expressions can be copied to clipboard with a single click for use in other applications.
