X History & Snapshot Chrome extension security report

Never lose track of your timeline again with X History & Snapshot. Have you ever refreshed your feed by accident and lost a brilliant thread? Or spent 20 minutes trying to find a video you watched yesterday? X History & Snapshot is your ultimate, private archive for X (formerly Twitter). It automatically records the posts you view, the videos you watch, and lets you take permanent snapshots of tweets—all instantly searchable and stored 100% locally on your device. 🌟 Key Features 🕰️ Automatic Browsing History Say goodbye to the endless scroll. Every post you click on is automatically saved to your local history tab. Easily retrace your steps and find exactly what you were reading yesterday, last week, or last month. 🎬 Dedicated Video Tracking Watched a great video clip but forgot who posted it? The Videos tab automatically logs the posts where you watched embedded videos, making it incredibly easy to find them again. 📸 Permanent Snapshots See a post you want to save before it gets deleted? With one click on the "Snapshot" button (added directly to the tweet UI), you can capture the post text, author, timestamp, and even the attached images. Snapshots are permanent and available even if the original post is removed. 🔍 Lightning-Fast Search Don't waste time scrolling. Use the powerful built-in search to instantly filter through your thousands of recorded history items, videos, and snapshots by author name, tweet text, or URL. 🛡️ 100% Private & Local Your data belongs to you. X History & Snapshot operates completely offline. All your browsing history, videos, and snapshots are stored locally on your own machine. We do not track you, collect your data, or send it to external servers. You can delete individual items or wipe your entire archive with one click. ⚡ Seamless Sidepanel & Popup Integration Access your archive however you prefer! Open the extension as a quick popup, or pin it to your Chrome Sidepanel to browse your history while simultaneously scrolling your timeline. Perfect For: Researchers & Journalists: Keep track of sources and archive important statements before they vanish. Artists & Designers: Save reference images and threads without cluttering your bookmarks. Power Users: Supercharge your X experience and never let the algorithm hide a good post from you again.
