This is an extension that provides a workstation to access to the Instagram social network. Our application aims to offer users a way to connect with others on the popular communication platform. Instagram, a photo and video sharing social networking service owned by Meta Platforms, enables users to upload media that can be customized with filters, sorted by hashtags, and tagged with geographical locations. Users can choose to share their posts publicly or exclusively with approved followers, while also exploring other users' content based on tags and locations, engaging with trending posts, liking photos, and following accounts to personalize their feed. With Instagram, users can upload photos and short videos, follow other users' feeds, and geotag their images with specific locations. Account privacy settings allow users to control follower requests, and integration with other social networking platforms facilitates easy sharing of uploaded content. The platform is known for its hashtag-driven trends, often dictating popular posting days. Additionally, features like 'Explore' showcase popular photos, nearby locations, and search functionalities. Instagram offers 'Reels', a video feature akin to TikTok, enabling users to create short videos set to pre-existing sound clips. 'Instagram Direct' allows private messaging between users, expanding communication beyond public posts. Our extension provides access to the majority of these features, enhancing the Instagram experience for users.
