White Rabbit helps fans find, stream and pay for films, wherever the films are hosted. Content recognition technology enables the extension to recognise any film being streamed. This allows fans to either pay the filmmakers directly, or be redirected to the streaming platform where the film is exclusively available. In that way White Rabbit protects fans from pirating content while giving them easy access to 100.000 films. The fans can then choose to subscribe to watch the film. Most films do not have distribution on platforms in all countries. White Rabbit therefore generates new revenue models for these films by facilitating direct payment to filmmakers and rights holders, regardless of where the fan streams the film. This allows fans to legally and easily access many more films, paying for the content wherever they find it on the internet. Filmmakers and rights holders are identified and verified by a third party Scandinavian collection agent. Documentation requirements are based on best practice in the film industry. Once verified, filmmakers and rights holders can make their film available in any given territory, at any given price, at any given time of their choosing. After the fan pays for the film, revenue is paid out to rights holders and filmmakers within one minute.
