About this extension
Read the publisher’s full description
Quickly and easily create highly optimised WebP graphics or further optimise WebP graphics: With our WebP converter you can easily convert PNG, JPG or GIF images into WebP format. These usually have a much smaller file size and therefore load much faster - this also scores SEO points in the PageSpeed area! Save loading time and storage space: convert images to WebP now! If the image is already on your own website, you can start the conversion to WebP directly by right-clicking on the image after installing the plugin: the newly created image will be downloaded directly. Alternatively, if the image is too large, you can drag it directly to the plugin's storage area: it will be automatically converted to WebP, optimised and ready to download with a single click! The WebP Converter can convert these images: - JPG to WebP - PNG to WebP - GIF to WebP - WebP to WebP By recompressing WebP images (e.g. created with GIMP) you can often save even more space!
