**WA Kids Filter** lets parents restrict which conversations are visible on WhatsApp Web. It works entirely with your own self-hosted admin server — no third-party cloud, no data leaves your network. ### How it works 1. Set up the free, open-source admin panel on your own web server (PHP 8+). 2. Install this extension on the browser your child uses. 3. Enter your server URL and API key in the extension popup. 4. From the admin panel you can turn the filter on/off and choose exactly which chats are visible. The extension polls your server every 30 seconds and applies the allow-list in real time. ### Features - ✅ Simple on/off filter controlled by the parent, not the child - ✅ Per-device allow-list — every device has its own set of permitted chats - ✅ Works fully offline once settings are cached - ✅ No data sent to any third-party server — only to your own server - ✅ No accounts required; no sign-up - ✅ Open source admin panel
