Vidi — Email Tracker & Read Receipts Chrome extension security report

Vidi adds read receipts to your email — so you never have to wonder if your message was seen. A single grey tick means sent. Double green ticks mean opened. Just like WhatsApp, but for email. HOW IT WORKS 1. Install the extension 2. Compose and send your email as normal 3. vidi silently tracks when your email is opened WHAT YOU GET • Real-time read receipts injected into your email client • Grey tick (sent) → green double tick (opened) • Works in Gmail, Yahoo Mail, and Outlook.com • Clean, non-intrusive UI — no clutter, no banners • Push notifications when emails are opened • Web dashboard at vidi.email for full tracking history PRIVACY vidi uses a tiny invisible tracking pixel — industry standard, same method used by virtually every email marketing platform. No email content is ever read or stored. Your data stays yours. WHAT MAKES VIDI DIFFERENT ➤ It doesn't stop at Gmail Mailtrack stops at Gmail. So does Streak. vidi is the only read-receipt extension that works across Gmail, Yahoo Mail AND Outlook.com — so you get the same ticks no matter which account you send from. One extension, all three inboxes. ➤ Accurate reads, not false alarms A green tick should mean a person actually read your email. vidi filters out corporate security scanners (Proofpoint, Microsoft SafeLinks and similar) that auto-open links — so a scanner never turns your tick green. It also suppresses your own opens, so previewing your own sent mail never counts as a read. ➤ Honest about Apple Mail Apple's Mail Privacy Protection auto-loads images on millions of devices, which fools most trackers into reporting fake "reads." vidi recognises these auto-loads and doesn't count them as a genuine open — so you're not chasing ghosts. ➤ Real-time open notifications Get a browser notification the second your email is opened, including the city it was read in. You follow up at the right moment — when interest is fresh — not three days into silence. ➤ Nothing added to your email No signature. No "sent with" badge. No read-receipt request your recipient has to accept. Your email looks exactly as you wrote it. The tracking is invisible to them and visible only to you. ➤ Privacy by design Your tracking links carry an opaque, random ID — never your name, your email address or any personal data. Vidi doesn't read your inbox or change how you write email. PRICING 30-day free trial, then $1.99/month. Cancel anytime.
