Video Background Checker by VBGC Chrome extension security report

Video Background Checker by VBGC helps you inspect video frames and check frame-edge uniformity before removing, changing, or blurring a video background. The extension lets you preview a local video, inspect different moments of the recording, and compare the Edge Uniformity Estimate from frame to frame before continuing with background editing. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT YOU CAN DO? ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Preview a selected video directly inside the extension. • Use -1 sec and +1 sec controls to inspect different moments. • Check the Edge Uniformity Estimate for the current video frame. • See simple feedback explaining whether the frame edges appear more uniform or show greater variation. • Quickly view video resolution, duration, and file size. • Choose another video whenever you want to run another check. • Continue directly to Remove, Change, or Blur background tools on VideoBackgroundChanger.com. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ EDGE UNIFORMITY ESTIMATE ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ The Edge Uniformity Estimate is a 0–100 heuristic indicator of how uniform or varied the edges of the current video frame appear. A higher score indicates more uniform frame edges, while a lower score indicates greater edge variation. Use the -1 sec and +1 sec controls to inspect different moments of your video and compare the estimate from frame to frame. The score is designed as a helpful pre-check before background editing. It is not a guarantee of final background-removal or segmentation quality. Your selected video stays on your device while using the checker. Video preview and the Edge Uniformity Estimate are processed locally in the browser, so the selected video does not need to be uploaded for analysis. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ LOCAL VIDEO CHECKING ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ No account is required to use the checker. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ HOW TO USE ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 1. Choose or drag and drop a supported video file. 2. Preview the video inside the extension. 3. Review the Edge Uniformity Estimate for the current frame. 4. Move forward or backward using the -1 sec and +1 sec controls. 5. Compare the estimate at different moments in the video. 6. When finished, continue to VideoBackgroundChanger.com to remove, change, or blur the background. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ VIDEO BACKGROUND CHECKER AND VIDEOBACKGROUNDCHANGER.COM ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Video Background Checker is designed as a pre-check tool for inspecting a video before background editing.
