This extension generates password based on the domain you are visiting and the passphrase. It let you to use single passphrase to generate different passwords for different web sites. It does not store any of your information. Everything is calculated on demand. It is also an open source project based on hashpass (https://github.com/boyers/hashpass) and vault (https://github.com/jcoglan/vault). Therefore, you do not depend on any company or service to protect your secret.
