US Property Tax Search — 50 States, 300+ Counties Edge extension security report

Property tax records in the U.S. aren't in one place — every county runs its own assessor or tax-collector site, and there are more than 3,000 of them. This extension is the shortcut: pick a state and county (or just paste a ZIP or address) and it opens the correct official county portal, so you search the real source instead of a paid data reseller. Made for tax preparers, accountants, bookkeepers, and real-estate or title pros — anyone who keeps having to track down "which website do I use for this county?" What it does • 300+ direct links to official county assessor/tax portals — all 50 states + DC • ZIP or address auto-detect jumps you straight to the right county • Shows whether each county supports search by address, parcel/PIN, or owner name • Google + NETR Online fallbacks so every U.S. county is reachable • Tells you what to do when a portal geo-blocks you or throws a 403 / blank page • 100% free — no account, no API keys, no trial, no paywall How it works Pick a state → pick a county → pick a search method → click through to the official portal. The lookup happens in your browser; the extension never sees or stores what you search. Privacy No tracking, no analytics, no servers. The only network request is the optional ZIP/address shortcut, which sends just the ZIP to free public geocoding APIs to identify the county. Nothing is logged or shared. Not affiliated with the IRS, any state revenue department, or any county assessor's office. Links are provided for navigational convenience — always confirm data with the official source before relying on it.
