The "Ultra TM Checker" is a browser extension designed to streamline the process of searching for trademarks. Its core functionality is centered around the Justia Trademarks database. The extension works in two main ways: 1- Context Menu Integration: When you select any text on a webpage and right-click, a new option appears in the menu labeled "Check TM for...". Clicking this instantly opens a new browser tab with the search results for the selected text on the Justia Trademarks website. The code you highlighted in the Canvas is responsible for creating this right-click functionality. 2- Popup Interface: The extension also has a popup window that appears when you click its icon in the Chrome toolbar. This popup includes: 2.1- A search bar and a button to manually enter and search for trademarks on Justia. 2.2- A dark mode toggle for user interface preference. 2.3- Links to your social media profiles, email, blog, and a YouTube subscribe button for support. 2.4- A clean, modern design with a clear footer containing copyright information. In essence, it's a convenient tool that provides quick access to trademark searches directly from your browser, either through a quick right-click or a dedicated popup interface.
