Alongside our mascot, 🦝 Mochi, you can remove social pressure and sales tactics anywhere you go. ✨ FEATURE HIGHLIGHTS * Block social metrics (free/pro) - No more social pressures of likes, views, subscribers, followers, etc. The free tier protects you on five major sites: Facebook, Twitter/X, YouTube, Instagram, and Reddit. Upgrade to the pro plan to enjoy this feature on *any website*! * Block sales tactics (pro) - Remove shady sales tactics and dark patterns that pressure you into making purchases. This includes limited time offers, peer pressure and social proofing, discounts, and artificial scarcity. * Fully customizable - Adjust which metrics and tactics get removed for a particular site or page, or edit your defaults to apply across-the-board settings. * Remove redundant blockquotes (pro) - Ever find yourself reading an article and there are quotations that are already in the article? Those are now removed! * Allow password pasting (pro) - Some websites prevent users from pasting passwords (e.g. from a password manager app). Now you can always paste them! You'll be surprised at how many social metrics and sales tactics are on the modern web. The extension tells you how many elements are blocked on your page visits, as well as the grant totals for your entire web experience since you first installed the extension. 🔑 PERMISSIONS The extension uses the fewest permissions needed to accomplish its purpose. * Access browser tabs - The extension works across tabs and responds to tab/page navigation events. * Access your data for all websites - The extension searches for and removes elements related to social metrics and sales tactics on any website you visit. Here are our planned improvements: * Removing like/vote/subscribe buttons altogether - We already remove numbers, but we'll soon give users the option of removing the buttons associated with performing actions such as liking and disliking, subscribing, voting, etc. * Enhanced user interface for which elements are removed - The extension takes care of removing elements on the web page based on user settings and telling the user how many elements were removed, but we want to make it easier for users to see which elements were removed and edit their settings to customize their web experience * Hiding comment sections - For users that want to go even further, we'll offer the ability to hide entire comment sections on sites, not just like counts on those comments.
